Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl isn’t hosting many rock concerts this summer, but what it lacks in quantity it more than makes up for in quality.
The famous Hollywood amphitheater is playing host to some of the best concerts in America this summer. If world music is what gets you going, indie poppers Yeasayer will be joining Baaba Maal for a special concert in June. If you like it when a guy and a girl sing at the same time (and who doesn’t), July’s She & Him, Bird and the Bee and The Swell Season show gathers some of the best guy/girl acts around. And if classic indie rock is your thing, check out Pavement and Sonic Youth, with a healthy dash of youth courtesy of No Age.
