It was a long time coming for the filmmakers behind cult cyberpunk film “The Bullet Man,” but Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails recently made good on a promise to deliver a song for the film “Theme From Tetsuo: The Bullet Man.”
The official story goes like this: The film’s producers spoke with Trent in January 2009 about contributing a song for the film. He agreed, but the filmmakers never heard back from him.
They continued editing the film and finished it in October 2009 – without the NIN song. Fast forward to February 2010, and Trent suddenly sends the filmmakers a new song – 13 months later for those counting at home. The filmmakers loved it, and subsequently reedited the ending to include the song.
