The legendary Roots crew recently revealed the track listing for their upcoming album, How I Got Over, via Pitchfork. The Roots also collaborated with indie rockers Dirty Projectors on How I Got Over for some as-yet-unannounced “final touches.”
That news broke recently in the form of a tweet from ?uestlove:
“Workin on 2 interludes at the same time w/ the ladies of the Dirty Projectors. #howigotover”
The message was delivered along with a photograph of the group in the studio, the caption reading “My 3 favorite genius sirens: angel deradoorian amber coffman & haley dekele of the dirty projectors doing the intro of the best 11th album ever.”
How I Got Over is set for a June 22 release.
