Indie electro-pop rockers !!! have begun streaming the first single off of their upcoming album, Strange Weather, Isn’t It? via their website, which also serves as a handy pronunciation tool for the group’s name. The single, entitled “AM/FM,” will be officially released via Warp Records on August 24, when Strange Weather, Isn’t It? comes out.

Produced by Eric Broucek, former house engineer of DFA records, Strange Weather, Isn’t It? will serve as !!!’s follow up to their 2007 album Myth Takes.
In a press release, Nic Offer, lead singer of !!!, addressed the new album’s sound:
“There’s something happening in the clubs there that isn’t happening in New York and is totally exciting,” he said. “We were trying to soak that up. It’s still something that I hope could happen over here. In some ways I guess it never will. But if we could just even begin to try to catch up to what’s going on there over here it would be a musical revolution. So this was our stab at starting the musical revolution.”
