File this in the “unexpected” folder: Prolific alternative country rocker Ryan Adams has announced the upcoming release of ORION, the “first fully-realized sci-fi metal concept album.”
Adams, who has played around with fake albums, bands and metal before via his official Web site, seems to have decided to take ORION to the next level – the record’s been pressed on clear vinyl and is available here for purchase on Adams’ Web site.
