Taking Back Sunday Announces Tour with “Old” Lineup

Long Island, NY emo outfit Taking Back Sunday announced today that they will soon be hitting the road once more with the original lineup of the band.  Click “read more” to see the dates.

The tour is short, with only six stops total, but the reunion of the “old” members of the band has helped to close the rumor book that opened when Matt Rubano and Matthew Fazzi departed from the band earlier this year.

In addition to bringing back the original lineup and hitting the road, the band also announced that they will be recording new songs in LA at the end of the tour.

TBS frontman Adam Lazzara rejoiced about the return to the old lineup, saying in a recent MTV news interview that “having John and Shaun back in the band has nothing to do with any of the old records — it has everything to do with being happy.”

The tour dates are as follows:

06/22 – Sayreville, NJ – Starland Ballroom
06/23 – New York, NY – Irving Plaza
06/24 – Philadelphia, PA – Electric Factory
06/25 – Boston, MA – House of Blues
06/27 – Chicago, IL – The Metro
06/29 – Los Angeles, CA – The Wiltern
