It seems like pop star Ke$ha (RCA) is everywhere – featured article in Rolling, musical guest on Saturday Night Live, and on and on. But after this Sunday’s episode of The Simpsons, it’s actually true.
Fox’s landmark animated program opened this past Sunday’s show “To Surveil, With Love” not with their classic couch gag introduction but with a musical number set to Ke$ha’s hit “Tik Tok,” complete with Groundskeeper Willie brushing his teeth with whiskey. Ke$ha told Rolling Stone.com: “As a smart ass, having your song parodied on The Simpsons is like being honored by the gold standard of smart assery — it’s an honor.”
