The Morning Benders Add More Dates With The Black Keys

Indie rock/poppers The Morning Benders (Rough Trade) are on quite kick this spring, and that kick will continue this summer, as they’ve been pegged to open more shows for The Black Keys in July and August.

The band, which will tour with Broken Bells in few weeks, will join The Black Keys in July and make stops at the Central Park Summerstage and Lollapalooza. The Morning Benders had also been scheduled to perform with psychedelic rockers The Flaming Lips for few dates at the end of July, but the Lips have pulled out of those shows due to Steven Drozd’s hospitalization.
