The Flaming Lips have canceled several festival performances, including their slot at Florida festival SunFest and the Memphis in May festival. The group’s multi-instrumentalist Steven Drozd was hospitalized with no word on his condition. Band reps are saying that the band may have to postpone other shows as well.
Update: Earlier today, Drozd tweeted the following: “Thank you, everyone, for your concern. I had to do this and I’m getting it together.”
