Mike Patton‘s Mondo Cane, group created by the Faith No More frontman dedicated to the orchestral arrangement of Italian pop songs from the mid 20th Century, recently released a video that shows a performance of the band’s first single from their upcoming debut album. The single, titled “Il Cielo in Una Stanza,” was orignally recorded by Gino Paoli in 1959.
The video was recorded at a performance put on by the group at The Paradiso in Amsterdam.
Mondo Cane’s self-titled first release is expected on May 4 from Ipecac Recordings.
