Arch Enemy and Exodus Rock the House of Blues.

Setting the bar high is what Exodus are all about.  The hardcore band opened to screams of those ready to rock and if you were one of the lucky ones, you were caught in the melee of flying fists in the middle of the crowd I call “the Pit of Rage.” Exodus were all energy and there was no doubt that the fans were there to kick ass and take names. One lucky lady made it up on stage and took a running jump into the crowd with the help from the lead man Rob Dukes. The band was off the hook and the evil rockers in the crowd were ready for the next blasphemous thrashers to get on stage.

As the energy soared and anticipation grew, Arch Enemy took to the front and center arena of rock. The crowd went crazy when the sexy thrash metal singer Angela Gossow ran on stage. It was rad from the first scream. The Swedish band has had great success here in America but they are really better known in Europe and Japan. The House of Blues was the perfect venue for their last night and they rocked it all night long. The band was tight and not a soul thought to leave early while the band played on as heavily as ever. This was their last date for the “Tyrants of Evil” tour and having it at the House of Blues in Hollywood was the right choice. This was my first Arch Enemy concert and I will definitely be going to more of their shows in the future.
