Guitarist Randy Randall and drummer/vocalist Dean Allen Spunt of No Age rocked the outdoor patio at Red 7 in the later hours of Friday night setting the stage for Demolished Thoughts. Typically a two-piece ensemble, here No Age were expanded by one with the addition of one person running sequencers, samplers and supplemental effects, adding disonant noise to flesh out the mix. Spunt’s voice has a nasal tone reminiscent of early punk such as the Stiff Little Fingers, and the band as a whole is a raucous slab of heavy alt rock.
