And for a completely different type of crazy look no further than Man Man. Sans guitars or conventional rock format. Man Man lives in the eccentric musical oddity once pioneered by Frank Zappa. With dueling musicians at center stage and gruff vocals, everything from xylophones to clown whistles is played with vigor while the band rampages on as if there was no other way to be. The crowd was full and danced along to every stop-on-a-dime change. It’s comforting to see something this eclectic find an audience.
