After interviewing singer Jase Blankfort and the rest of the band Glint earlier today, it’s a real treat to see them perform. The band was humble and hesitant to categorize their sound, but live they are a bombastic medley of high-tempo electronics and uplifting rock. Blankfort is a jack-in-the-box of energy on stage winding up through each passing lyric and manically jumping in each instrumental section. For people that like music that blends the epic relief that Muse has made their calling card and the textured fun of Sound Tribe Sector 9, this is the band for you.
