Circa Survive (acoustic) – Spin Myspace Music Loft

A few years back Circa Survive put on a wild show at an early SXSW day party. Now, at a comfy pro-studio, three members of the band put on acoustic set that made them appear to be a serious fish-out-of-water. Without the backdrop of slamming drums and screamed vocals, what was left out-of-tune vocals and awkward strumming. The Spin/MySpace left on the other hand was super posh! Free fish tacos and pure Fiji water were in abundance and there were couches and ping pong tables. Some even jammed on Rock band while artists posed for photos in a makeshift studio. Spin is celebrating its 25th year with this Loft and as well they should. It’s not easy keeping a magazine alive in this day and age.
