The Dillinger Escape Plan – Emo’s

This is the sound and look of total fucking chaos. With no intro, lead-in or grandstanding, Dillinger Escape Plan literally ran on stage at Emo’s and exploded into a math metal onslaught. The five-member group spin-kicked, amplifier-climbed and furiously strummed while singer Greg Puciato screamed like a banshee. The crowd roared into a frenzy while the band stormed with ferocity back and forth. Playing tracks from new album Option Paralysis and even pre-Puciato album Calculating Infinity, this show just might be a glimpse into a future titan of modern metal. As the set progressed, the band even dipped into some of their more ambient material, opting for no tremulant scales or blast-beat drumming. Wow, for real, brutal.
