Band of Skulls played a short and sweet set at the makeshift “British Music Embassy” at Latitude 30. Russell Marsden (guitar, vocals), Emma Richardson (bass, vocals) and Matt Hayward (drums) punched out throat-y Brit-rock with no frills or showiness. Straight and to the point, Richardson’s yelp further proves just how women can rock in a band. In terms of harmonizing, they may not be as strong as The Sleepy Sun was earlier, but it was satisfying nonetheless.
