Serj Tankian, best known for his work with System of Down, announced Tuesday that he will be embarking on a short tour in support of the Elect the Dead Symphony, a DVD/CD combo put out by Serjical Strike Records that features symphonic renditions of songs from first his solo album, Elect the Dead.
Elect the Dead Symphony was recorded March 16, 2009 during a symphony performance put on by Tankian and the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra in Auckland, New Zealand.
The tour dates for the Elect the Dead Symphony, which are primarily focused on European venues, can be seen below:
