Sasquatch! Music Festival Lineup Announced for Memorial Day Weekend

With headliners Pavement, Massive Attack, and My Morning Jacket, the 2010 Sasquatch! Music Festival at The Gorge will be held over Memorial Day weekend, May 29-31.  Returning to The Gorge in Quincy, WA, festival tickets go on sale Saturday, Feb. 20 at 10 a.m. PST via Ticketmaster.com and sasquatchfestival.com.

This is the ninth installment of the festival, and curator Adam Zacks hand-picks the diverse slew of artists, including Ween, Vampire Weekend, MGMT, and more, in addition to the headliners.  “It’s our goal each year to present a fresh lineup that reflects the independent spirit of the Pacific Northwest, respects the artists and audience, and celebrates the grandeur of The Gorge.”

The Office’s Craig Robinson and The Daily Show’s Rob Riggle will help present the est up-and-coming comedic acts.

Esurance, a sponsor for the past three years, is helping to increase sustainable practices at the Gorge, including “an expanded recycling program, eco-friendly signage, and energy-efficient lighting,” with the plan to reduce the overall carbon footprint at the venue compared to previous years.
