Feb 4, 2010
An Evening of Bad Vibes
The Dead Wasif
Mockingbirds (members of Red Sparowes)
Jason Simon (of Dead Meadow)

The Dead Wasif was a name given to Imaad Wasif by Jack White while touring with the Dead Weather and Dead Meadow. A whole lotta death. This is an electric group featuring (Imaad Wasif (vox/guitar), Greg Burns (from Red Sparowes, bass) and Adam Garcia (drums). Mockingbirds we hear is a secret name for the Red Sparowes! Jason Simon from Dead Meadow will be unfolding the night with his wicked acoustic psych. Come early!

Feb 11, 2010
An Evening of Faith Folk
Imaad Wasif Acoustic
Becky Stark
Voice on Tape

Imaad Wasif will be playing a mostly acoustic set drawing from songs on all three of his records. Greg Burns from Red Sparowes will also be sitting in with him on pedal steel. Rumor has it that Imaad Wasif may sing the 30 minute unedited version of “The Hand of the Imposter (Is the Promise of my Own)” with all 666 verses. The otherworldly Becky Stark from Lavender Diamond is also playing and as mystery suggests could be doing some songs with her living sisters harmony trio featuring eleni mandell and inara george! Voice On Tape writes some of the most beautiful and tragic songs in the world and will be cutting open the night. Come early!

Feb 18, 2010
An Evening of Cock Rock
Imaad Wasif with Two Part Beast
Lou Barlow & The Missing Men
Avi Buffalo

The final night for the residency… this will be electric mayhem! Witness the weirdness that is [Imaad Wasif] with Two Part Beast, playing songs from the Voidist & Strange Hexes. Imaad Wasif’s great friend and collaborator, Lou Barlow will be playing with Missing Men (the band that also plays with Mike Watt). The future sounds of Avi Buffalo will be kicking off the night… if you haven’t heard them yet, they are truly a phenomena. Come early!
