Yeasayer Signs with Secretly Canadian

Yeasayer recently signed to Secretly Canadian and are expected to drop their new album, Old Blood, on February 9. Fans of the band won’t have to wait long to here new material. Their first single off the new album, “Ambling Alp,” is available for free download on their website and was released digitally and on a limited edition 12″ vinyl yesterday. The 12″ and digital single features remixes by Memory Tapes and DJ/rupture, with the vinyl packaged in a space age metallic sleeve. “Ambling Alp” is Yeasayer’s first new recording since their acclaimed contribution, “Tightrope,” on the Dark Was The Night benefit compilation released earlier this year.
