Charlotte Gainsbourg, whose last studio album, Following 5:55, was released in 2006, has been working with Beck to produce her upcoming record, IRM.With a January release date set, the first single off the album, “Heaven Can Wait” will be released soon. The album’s title track, IRM, however, is now available for download now here.
Working alongside Beck, Gainsbourg’s first recording session went in three different directions with african beats, quiet melodies, and classic pop songs, promising a unique album. Beck not only wrote all the music for the album, but co-wrote the lyrics, produced and mixed the recordings, making IRM the most he has ever been involved in another artist’s work.
