Danger Mouse and The Shins’ James Mercer have merged into Broken Bells, secret collaboration that sends both artists into completely different directions with their music. After meeting in 2004, at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark, the duo have been waiting for the day when they would be able to produce music together. Five years later, Broken Bells was created with “The High Road” as their first single. The untitled album won’t be released until 2010 but their single drops in late 2009.
