Portishead Back in the Studio

With 11 years between their self-titled sophomore album and Third, many are clamoring for another Portishead album, but probably wouldn’t want to hold their breath for anything new from the Bristol outfit. However, the BBC is reporting the trio will give a quick response to Third‘s grand return.

What’s more is that one third of the trip-hop trifecta, Geoff Barrow had the following to say:

We’re going to start writing and if all goes well it could be [out] in a year’s time.”
