Ben Lee Reforms Noise Addict with Lou Barlow

Remember Noise Addict? While many may be hard pressed to recall the Australian pop-punk outfit that provided Ben Lee with launch pad to a solo career, date Claire Danes and marry Ione Skye, they were a sextet that release a pair of LPs on The Beastie Boys‘ now defunct Grand Royal Records. They disbanded in 1995

Now, Ben Lee has decided to resurrect Noise Addict as trio featuring Lou Barlow (Dinosaur Jr., Sebadoh) and Lara Meyerratken. They’ve made their new album, It Was Never About the Audience available here for download.
