Massive Attack Debuts New Songs at Brixton Academy

Massive Attacked debuted new songs from their upcoming EP “Splitting the Atom” at London’s Brixton Academy on September 17th.  Set to drop October 5th, the band played nine new songs from the release, beginning with “Bulletproof Love.”

The live band featured a new guest vocalist, Martina Topley Bird (a support act for the tour), regular vocalist Horace Andy, and Deborah Miller.  Damon Albarn (Blur) also appeared on stage for the end of “Splitting the Atom” and “Saturday Come Slow.” 

The final song of the set, “Karmacoma” was dedicated to Patrick Swayze.  Massive will continue to tour through the U.K. and Europe with U.S. dates to be confirmed for early next year.
