Smashing Pumpkins Set To Release 44-Track Album, For Free

The Smashing Pumpkins have announced the release of their new album Teargarden by Kaleidyscope, which will be availbile for free via website. The 44-track album will be released one track at a time, starting on Halloween.

Based on “The Fool’s Journey,” the metaphor for the journey of life in the Tarot card world, frontman Billy Corgan said the album “harkens back to the original psychedelic roots of the Smashing Pumpkins; atmospheric, melodic, heavy and pretty.” Corgan also added, “Free will mean free, which means you won’t have to sign up for anything, give an email address, or jump through a hoop. You will be able to go and take the song or songs as you wish, as many times as you wish.”
