The Rifles Set For ‘Great’ North American Debut

The London based rock-band The Rifles are set to release their North American debut, Great Escape on September 15. The indie project is the follow-up to the groups 2006 debut No Love Lost. Since the release of their first LP, The Rifles have been recording with producer Jan ‘Stan’ Kybert (Oasis and Bjork) and touring non-stop creating an enormous fan base of over 2 million. In addition to the growing fan base, the East London natives have also got the attention of the press. Maxim (UK) spoke highly of the new sounds by stating the album was “full of pulsating basslines and yell-aloud-with-your-mates-choruses, it’s an infectious, energetic slab of good old-fashioned rock ‘n’ roll.”

In support of Great Escape, The Rifles will embark on a U.S. Tour starting in Philadelphia on September 22, and according to The Times (UK) The Rifles live are ‘a revelation’. The following are the dates to The Rifles U.S. Tour:

Sep 22 – Philadelphia, PA @ Kung Fu Neck Tie
Sep 23 – Boston, MA @ Great Scott
Sep 24 – New York City, NY @ Mercury Lounge
Sep 25 – New York City, NY @ Mercury Lounge
Sep 26 – Brooklyn, NY @ Union Hall
