Los Angeles trio The Happy Hallows have announced the release date of their debut full length album, Spells. On October 6, the 14-track album will hit record store shelves. The album was written and recorded over two years with the help of producer David Newton (former guitarist of Mighty Lemon Drops) who also produced their 2008 EP Imaginary. The new album is gritty, loud and ambitious, but doesn’t shy away from the use of melody and pop sensibility.
