The British rock band, Muse, will release their fifth studio album, The Resistance, on September 15. The new single, “Uprising,” is the first time the public has heard anything new from the Muse since their 2006 album, Black Holes and Revelations. To promote their new album, Muse will perform at the 2009 MTV Music Awards on September 13 and they will open few shows for U2 including Giants Stadium in New York on September 24. “Uprising” hits airwaves on August 3 and is available for digital download on August 4.
