Monolith Festival, presented by Esurance and returning to Red Rocks Ampitheatre on September 12 and 13, has announced the Yeah Yeah Yeahs as the headlining act for Saturday night and The Mars Volta topping off the Sunday bill. This year’s line-up was revealed one band at time over the past several weeks via Twitter and Facebook and has already generated quite a buzz. The festival will host two kick-off parties in Denver on September 11 including performances by The Cool Kids, Chromeo (DJ), Hot Tub and Boyhollow. Tickets for the festival are now on sale at the fesitval’s website.
