Melvins to Release Chicken Switch, Tour

Never a band to think inside the box, Melvins will release Chicken Switch, remix album with some intereting characteristics via Ipecac. If that wasn’t enough, King Buzzo, Dale Crover and the crew will also be hitting the road for some shows beginning in August.

Chicken Switch is an interestingly unique animal because, where the normal practice is to give a remixer a single track to play with, here they’re given an entire album (more in some cases) from which to cull a single remix cut.

The tracklisting along with the remixers involved are as follows:

Washmachine Sk8tronics – Eye Yamatsuka
Emperor Twaddle Reemix – Christoph Heeman
She Chokes Her Dying Breadn and Does It In my Face – V/VM
AAHHH… – John Duncan
