On June 26 and 27, the Electric Daisy Carnival, Southern California’s leading electronic music festival, returned for its 13th year with over 135,000 attendees during its two-day span. The festival took place at Los Angeles’ Memorial Coliseum & Exposition Park and also joined the ranks for largest single day attended music festival in the United States with 90,000 attendees on its second day. Founded by Pasquale Rotella of Insomniac Events in 1996, the festival has become a staple of West Coast electronic music culture.
