According to multiple sources, the King of Pop passed away today, June 25, 2009.
He was pronounced dead by doctors at the UCLA Medical Center after arriving in a deep coma. Jackson is said to have suffered cardiac arrest and was not breathing when paramedics rushed to his place of residence just after 12pm this afternoon. CPR was performed and he was transported to the hospital. Doctors were unable to resuscitate him from his coma.
His death has been confirmed by the Los Angeles Times, AP, and CNN at the time of this posting.
