Maynard James Keenan, the Tool, Perfect Circle, and Puscifer front man, has decided to allow fans a glimpse of his normally private life with the release of the DVD Blood Into Wine. Directed by Ryan Page and Christopher Pomerenke (Moog and The Heart is a Drum Machine), the film will recount Keenan’s motivations and efforts with vineyard partner Eric Glomski to bring wine-making to the Arizona’s Verde Valley, as well as how “winemaking fits into Keenan’s creative trajectory.
The Blood Into Wine trailer is now available for download at http://www.twinklecashcompany.com, as well as a streaming and an iPhone version. The film will have a limited theatrical release in February and March 2010.
