Riot Fest Celebrates 5 Years, Announces West Coast Edition

For 5 years, Riot Fest stormed Chicago and satisfied plenty of patrons. All those in disbelief can check out the video:

With the first announcements for the 2009 edition’s line-up including Cock Sparrer, Screeching Weasel, Alkaline Trio, The Dead Milkmen and Murder City Devils, it doesn’t seem like anything is going to change.

For 2009, Riot Fest will spawn a west coast edition for the first time. The venue: Los Angeles, November 12-14. The line-up for Riot Fest West is still being determined.

Riot Fest’s 5th anniversary will take place throughout the Chicago area from October 7-12.

Tickets for the Chicago edition go on sale June 6 for a modest, recession proof $99.
