The Apollo Theater will celebrate its 75th year anniversary with a benefit concert and induction ceremony on June 8 at the historic venue. The Gala will be hosted by comedian/actor/radio personality Steve Harvey, and will feature Apollo Legends Hall of Fame inductees Quincy Jones and Patti LaBelle, and their award presenters, Jamie Foxx and Mariah Carey.
The Ruby Dee and Ollie Davis Arts and Humanitarian Award will be presented to Bill and Camille Cosby, and performers Anita Baker, Ray Chew, and The O’Jays have been confirmed to appear. The Gala Sponsors include The Coca-Cola Company and TvOne, and all proceeds will benefit the Apollo Theater Foundation.
