Sally Shapiro will be digitally releasing her new single, “Miracle,” in North America via Paper Bag Records on June 16th. Her sophomore album, the follow-up to her debut Disco Romance, will be released in early fall of 2009.
Sally Shapiro’s latest single was written and produced by Johan Agebjorn and Roger Gunnarsson. This upcoming album will include a remix by Belgian producer Bogdan Irkuk, German producer Tensnake, and the Swedish italo disco duo Cloetta Paris.
Few other details have been released about her up-coming album, but promises to keep with the blend of 80s-inspired italo disco and twee indie pop that fans have come to expect from Sally Shapiro—melodic yet hopeful, sweet yet danceable. Expect more details soon!
