Paul Banks of Interpol to Release Solo Album

The lead singer and guitarist of Interpol is set to release his own solo album, Skyscraper, on August 4, 2009. Under the pseudonym Julian Plenti, which he apparently has been using for several years, the album is described as having a “cocky, sexy feel.” Information is scarce at the moment, but more will be revealed soon.
