Coachella 2009 – Paul McCartney

Following last year’s semi-alternative inclusion of Roger Waters at Coachella, this year Goldenvoice went a step further and brought an even bigger name, Paul McCartney. The former Beatle looked in his element, casually hammering out classics while making corny jokes like he was born on stage. In addition to a few too many Wings songs, Sir Paul also played essential tracks as “Paperback Writer,” “Live and Let Die,” “Give Peace a Chance” and “Can’t Buy Me Love.”
