Gravelly-voiced songwriter Tom Waits is making a live recording – his first in 11 years – available as part of Record Store Day.
The record-purchasing event will be held nationwide in independently owned record stores on April 18. Waits will drop a three song, 7-inch through Anti Records. The effort pulls together two tracks recorded in Atlanta (“Ain’t Going Down the Well” and “Lucinda”) and one in Edinburgh, Scotland (“Bottom of the World”) during his 2007 Glitter and Doom tour.
