Dhani Harrison, son of George Harrison, says Apple Corp is considering starting their own digital download service to sell the Beatles catalog. The service would eliminate the need to work with established download services such as iTunes, emusic or Amazon. Dhani has been encouraging the Apple corp shareholders to pursue new technologies, and pushed for the upcoming Beatles Rock Band video game. “You have to have your own delivery system, or you have to do a good deal with [Apple CEO] Steve Jobs.”Said Dhani. “[Jobs] says that a download is worth 99 cents, and we disagree.”
