The prog metal innovators will be touring throughout the US and Canada this Spring and playing their new album Crack the Skye in its entirety- complete with a live stage show. Of the new album and playing it live, Mastadon Guitarist Bill Kelliher said “there’s something about [the album] where it would be weird to leave a song out. We’ll incorporate a whole stage show, which will hopefully make it even more exciting for kids to come see and more visually stimulating.†Crack the Skye will be released March 24, 2009.
