A supergroup for the ages has announced an upcoming release. Former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha, drummer of Cheap Trick, Bun E. Carlos, Taylor Hanson of the brothers Hanson and Fountains Of Wayne bassist Adam Schlesinger have formed a new band called Tinted Windows.
The group has put to wax a debut record through the Schlesinger and Iha co-owned Stratosphere Sound Studio.
The album’s release is expected to be released this spring on a label to be announced. Tinted Windows will play its first major show at Austin’s South by Southwest Festival March 20 at Pangaea in Austin, Texas.
