The Boss Pulls Rank On Ticketmaster

Bruce Springsteen is in an uproar after Ticketmaster rerouted thousands of potential ticket buyers to TicketsNow.com, a ticket sharing website that allows users to sell their own tickets to other buyers. Springsteen and his manager, Jon Landau, immediately had Ticketmaster stop redirecting and allow fans to buy their tickets at face value, instead of markup value by other vendors. Springsteen said,“The abuse of our fans and our trust by Ticketmaster has made us as furious as it has made many of you and we will continue to do our utmost now and in the future to make sure that these practices are permanently curtailed on our tours.”

The tour, to promote Working on a Dream, opens up in San Jose, CA in April.
