Live Nation Teams with Blockbuster for Ticket Deal

For 3 years, beginning in 2009, Blockbuster will be the sole outlet where customers can purchase tickets to Live Nation events.

This deal essentially replaces the outlets that Ticketmaster used to provide for Live Nation ticketing and gives the company 500 Blockbuster-owned outlets in “strategically chosen” markets that align with Live Nations venue footprint. Tickets will still be available at venue box offices.
