The Volcom Tour 2008 features Motörhead, Misfits, Airbourne, Valient Thorr, and Year Long Disaster. Legendary Motörhead — Lemmy Kilmister, Mikkey Dee and Phil Campbell — are are headlining their first U.S. tour in 7 years. Selling out shows and drawing thousands of fans, The Misfits are Jerry Only (Bass/Vocals) with Black Flag alum Dez Cadena on guitar and original Misfits drummer Robo. The Melbourne, AU four piece Airbourne will be pounding hard hitting tunes from their debut album Runnin’ Wild. Valient Thorr will be supporting IMMORTALIZER — their recent release on Volcom Entertainment — and stepping back from the plate of headlining a U.S. tour with Early Man, Monotonix and Skeleton Witch. Year Long Disaster are currently supporting the Foo Fighters on their U.S. tour; the three-piece blues-based rock band of Daniel Davies (son of Dave Davies from The Kinks), Rich Mullins (Karma to Burn, Speedealer) and Brad Hargreaves (Third Eye Blind), are supporting their debut on Volcom Entertainment.
