65Daysofstatic’s new EP, The Distant and Mechanized Glow of Eastern European Dance Parties has found favor with DJ Dan Carter of BBC Radio 1. He introduced the “Dance Parties (Mechanized)” track as the “hottest record in the world right now!”

Emo legends The Cure hand-picked 65DOS, a post-rock quartet, to support their entire North American tour — the days of which have been reinstated since last fall’s postponement. The tour kicked off in Washington, DC, on May 9.
