Pearl Jam announced in an interview with the Seattle Radio station KISW on May 1st that a new album is in the works with a planned release before the end of 2008. Currently the band has only been working on four or five tracks so far, but they have reteamed with producer Brendan O’Brien. O’Brien, who has also produced Bruce Springsteen and Rage Against the Machine, produced Pearl Jam’s 1993 album Vs., Vitalogy (1994), No Code (1996), and Yield (1998).
Pearl Jam will begin their East Coast Tour on Wednesday, June 11, 2008. Dates are below:
