Less Than Jake Return to Their Roots in Their New Album

Less Than Jake has announced the release of their upcoming album GNV FLA for June 24, 2008. This will be their first new record off their self-owned and controlled indie label Sleep It Off Records. Recorded at Atlas Records in Chicago and produced by Matt Allison, who has also produced albums by Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, and The Falcon, this album will signify a return to Less Than Jake’s roots, both geographically and stylistically. The album title represents their hometown, Gainesville, FL, and can be described as a “traditional” sounding Less Than Jake album, but with socially conscious themes.
